to what supervisory body can i complain to about bad treatment by an european airline?
Q. my first flight with KLM to amsterdam on a saturday was delayed,so i coudn't get my connecting flight to west africa at around 12noon.I was only given a 10 voucher and told to wait at the airport till another flight leaves on monday as i didn't accept for medical reasons an alternate flight to WA via Nairobi in the evening by 8pm[double distance].No hotel was offered,no boarding denyance compensation,no free ticket back from AMS to German airport, but a new ticket from Germany via AMS to WA.I'm looking for the European regulatory body address I can lodge my complaints and official address of KLM in the Netherland and other customer protection agencies I can complain to as the handling on site was very rude and incompetent.

A. Welcome to modern air travel. You can minimize such difficulties like you had by avoiding London and Amsterdam as a connection hub in the future. But, I have experienced that nobody cares. You MUST call 24 hours ahead of the day of your depaurture to confirm your reservation. Don't be surprised when you check in that the seat you thought was yours has been reassigned. Airlines just suck. Somebody in India will take your complaint and send you a letter explaining it wasn't your fault, and it wasn't their fault. It was nobody's fault.

Q. This is Child Protection?By Gregory A. Hession, J.D. Published: 2007-07-23 05:00 Family | Email this page | printer friendly version Imagine your terror and panic: you are awakened by an armed SWAT team in the middle of the night, demanding to be let into your home to take your children away. The grim-faced agents show you no warrant, no court order, and no mercy. They give you no reason for their presence, other than having received an unspecified report about child abuse. They bark commands and menace you and your children with their weapons. The children are taken out of your home screaming, shoved into cars, and whisked away into the night. This is not a Soviet-era movie script, but a reality in thousands of homes in the United

A. This is obviously not a question and has been reported as such. None the the less, the information in this post is also largely inaccurate and reflects a particular political bias. It fails to truly understand the real need for CPS and the horror that many children live in. Is CPS perfect - far from it - name me one system that is (how much harm is caused in the free market). CPS does believe that the family is the best place to raise a child and works to empower families to be able to do this (deal with addiction, poverty, violence, neglect, poor parenting, etc). Removal of the child happens only when the family is unable to improve its capacity. Does it have all the resources needed - far from it - most communities could use many

Q. The Mexican solutionFRANK J. GAFFNEY JR.By Frank J. Gaffney, Jr.April 4, 2006 The Congress has received lots of free advice lately from Mexican government officials and illegal aliens waving Mexico's flag in mass demonstrations coast-to-coast. Most of it takes the form of bitter complaints about our actual or prospective treatment of immigrants from that country who have gotten into this one illegally -- or who aspire to do so. If you think these critics are mad about U.S. immigration policy now, imagine how upset they would be if we adopted an approach far more radical than the bill they rail against that was adopted last year by the House of Representatives -- namely, the way Mexico treats illegal aliens. In fact, as a
